Michael Malley ‘78 and Daniel Malley ‘84 Athletics Training Room

A 900-square-foot athletics training room, featuring seven training tables, three taping tables and two whirlpools:

While they were never stars, Mike '78 and Dan '84 were a big part of Serra athletics during their years as Padres. Mike anchored the Padre offensive line from his center position for two years. Known more for his “football smarts” than his skills, Dan was a solid contributor during his two years of varsity football. Designated hitter, back-up catcher, first base coach, Dan would do whatever Coach Jensen needed as a two year varsity baseball player on the great teams of the mid-80s. 

Both Mike and Dan exemplified the spirit, dedication,commitment and love for Serra that makes Padre Athletics special. Their early passings left a lasting mark on their classmates and teammates.
