Padres Football had their streak of 11 straight wins in Central Coast Section playoff games broken with a 14-7 loss to No. 5 Los Gatos Cats in the CCS Division I opener on Saturday, November 16 at Freitas Field. Serra led most of the way, but fumbles on back-to-back possessions late in the second half proved costly.
